Airplane Block Calculator

Use Rotary Cutting or AccuQuilt to cut 2 sizes of half square triangle patches. This 4 x 4 grid block is part of the 72 Block Patterns Book using the GO Qube Mix and Match Sets. The block calculator includes instructions for Rotary Cutting and AccuQuilt cutting.

To Make This Quilt

Design Your Straight Set Quilt

Design Your On-Point Set Quilt

This straight set version uses four blocks to make the pattern. In the upper left you see 4 blocks with the large HST patches meeting in the center. The next 4 block pattern is set with the large HST patches in the corners. Alternate these 4-block settings to achieve this look.

You must use an even number of rows and even number of columns to make this look.

In this straight set version all the blocks are facing the same way.

This on-point version has the blocks set on point with the large HST patches all facing down.
