Description

The classic and simple Friendship Star block is used to make this quilt. The quilt on the left uses the same fabric for the star and scrappy corners. This version also has a scrappy border to complete the look. Instructions for this version can be downloaded from the block calculator.

The quilt on the right is similar to the Among Friends version made with the same dark fabric in the corners and the same light fabric in the background. The star fabrics are reproduction or small florals. I haven't been able to track down the origin of this version.

Both versions are straight set layouts.
