The Quilt Calculator, All the Answers Without the Math

I uploaded my first quilt calculator to the world sometime in early 2017. There it stayed for 7 years until I finally had a way to tell quilters about it. Throughout 2023 I built up a YouTube following. Most of the quilt questions I got from viewers started with “How many blocks do I need for….?” or “How much fabric do I need for a queen size quilt?”. It was time to answer those questions in a big way.

As favorite pastimes or hobbies go, quilting has been first on my list for many years.

But writing code for computers is right there closely following. It is exciting to see how just a few lines of code can quickly give you something useful. I am mostly self taught but I did take a few online classes to learn the various coding languages.
