This setting triangle calculator finds fabric requirements and cutting instructions for side and corner setting triangles.

When blocks are set on-point, the rows require side and corner setting triangles. In the image above the side triangles are yellow and the corner triangles are blue.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This calculator takes finished block sizes in whole numbers only. Use the next highest whole number for your calculations. Example: If your block finishes at 13.5″ then enter 14″. Trim the triangles after sewing all the rows together.
