Shapes 1 thru 4
For the HST units made from Shape 3, you will need two different fabrics: the background and the accent. The results below show fabric requirements for one of those fabrics. You will need an equal amount of the other fabric to make the number of HST units you require.
For the QST units made from Shape 4 you will need 4 squares for 4 QST units.
The results from this calculator will be for 1 of those squares. You will need the same amount for each of the other 3 squares.
Shapes 5 thru 8
For the HST units made from Shape 5, you will need two different fabrics: the background and the accent. The results below show fabric requirements for one of those fabrics. You will need an equal amount of the other fabric to make the number of HST units you require.
