This is the Scrappy Log Cabin quilt made entirely with 2-1/2″ cut squares. I had a lot of these squares and strips from Jelly Rolls in the scrap box so I cut them up and made this quilt.
Light and dark scrap fabrics are sewn into a log cabin style block with the dark accent fabrics along the diagonal.

The image shown for this quilt is an example of the barn raising layout, however, this block can be used to make many other layouts. Any layout made with log cabin blocks can be made with the Scrappy Log Cabin block.
